The enthusiastic response to the music I performed with
Peter Vantine at the 2003 One Foundation concert is the
motivation for creating our first collaborative CD. For this
recording we've chosen: poems, praise songs, songs of
suffering and longing, and songs of salvation and hope. In
our lifetime we will experience suffering and long for
peace, but listen to the words of King David as he cried out
to God saying: "Arise O Lord, deliver me O my God". We too
can cry out to God and He will faithfully deliver each one
us.
It is my prayer that these songs lift your heart, give you
hope, and draw you closer to the one true God who loves
you and gives you peace. Thank you for your
encouragement and support for our first recorded musical
collaboration. Thank you to my beloved family who prays
without ceasing, and dear friends who share in my
laughter and tears. Thank you Lord God for musically
inspiring great composers, specially Peter Vantine, to
write beautiful music that let me sing of my faith in your
son Jesus Christ. All praise, glory, and honor belong to you
alone. Hallelujah!
